Dan and Cara Whitney have teamed up with the Child Advocacy Center to take a stand against child abuse. The Git R Done Foundation has donated $1 million to our campaign to build a new facility. This brings us within $65,000 of our goal! Please join them in this fight against child abuse and donate to our Capital Campaign.
We all need to make sure that "small voices continue to be heard". Let's "GIT-R-DONE!"

Building A Promise: Capital Campaign DONATE NOW
Our Need
- The Child Advocacy Center has outgrown the little yellow house in the Antelope Park.
- Our facility is not fully handicapped accessible.
- It is not uncommon for more than one family to be at the Center at one time. The crowded space does not provide privacy and confidentiality that all families deserve.
- In eight years, the number of children we see has grown 4 times over.
Our Vision
- An expanded facility in the University Place located at 51st and Garland.
- The facility would be handicapped accessible and provide private meeting space for families.
- We will double the number of interview rooms available and expand our medical services to include a comprehensive evaluation for all children entering the foster care system.
- We will provide expanded space mental health support services provided on-site by the University of Nebraska Project SAFE
- We will develop a centralized training center for child abuse professionals that can also be used as a community meeting room for Northeast Lincoln.
- We will strive for co-location of law enforcement and child protective services to promote improved communication and coordination throughout the investigation.
